That’s why our recent Professional Development Day was designed to bring our staff together for a full day of learning, reflection, and connection, strengthening the skills that help children flourish every day in our programs.

A Day Focused on Learning, Reflection, and Best Practices

Throughout the day, staff participated in a variety of training sessions designed to reinforce core competencies and introduce new tools for supporting children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs. These trainings included refreshers on bestpractice safety approaches, updated guidance on behavior support and group dynamics, and deeper exploration into childcentered, therapeutic strategies such as play therapy.

Together, these sessions ensure that our team remains grounded in traumacinformed care, strong communication skills, and responsive teaching practices, key elements of providing safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environments.
